Discover Our Vibrant Home away From Home

Welcome to Bridget's Dance Studio in Braintree, MA. As we enter our 20th season we are proud to call BDS our second home. We know you will enjoy the family orientated atmosphere full of life, love, and nostalgia. Our recent renovations and expansion has BDS fully equipped for more classes and ready for you to join us for another great season.

The Studio Experience

Experience our state-of-the-art waiting room, designed with expansive tinted viewing windows that allow you to observe every precise movement of your dancer in comfort and privacy. Siblings can enjoy a movie or show on our flat screen smart tv while parents can relax with a book or use our wifi for those last minute emails. Enjoy seamless convenience with our innovative slide-up garage door, enabling us to escort your dancer directly to the car for a faster, stress-free drop-off. The BDS staff is always smiling and ready to make each class a great success. Our experienced studio manager is available during classes to help answer your questions or assist your child with any needs prior to class time.

Spacious and Equipped

The studio encompasses over 4,000 sq ft. Our impressive mirrors stand 8 ft. tall and span 36 ft. across two oversized 1,000 sq. ft. dance floors. We are fully equipped with loud DJ speakers, LED lights that fill the room, a stereo system, and air conditioning in the waiting room area. With high ceilings, we can teach stunts and tumbling, and practice for competitions. For safety, Our 2" cheer foam mats are rolled out for practicing tumbling and gymnastic skills, along with a tumble track and various gymnastic matts as tools for Acro.

Comfortable Waiting Room

The waiting room features large tinted windows so parents can view each class while relaxing at our window tables and charging their laptops or smartphones.

Retail

You don't have to go anywhere to purchase all of your dance necessities. We sell various items including BDS Merch, leotards, tights, ballet skirts, jazz pants, tutus, assorted dance shoes, and much, much more!

Changing Facilities

We provide three restrooms , one of which is conveniently located right off the studio floor, allowing teachers to keep an eye on our little ones and ample space to change into the proper dance attire.

Comprehensive Workout Tools

Bridget's Dance Studio also supplies all workout tools, including free weights, resistance bands, body balls, yoga mats, and Pilates balls.

Meet Our Staff

Meet the Director: Bridget Keddy

Bridget is a dancer, choreographer, vocalist, actor, performer, and instructor with more than 35 years of performance experience. She began dancing as soon as she learned to walk and hasn’t stopped since.
Bridget began formal dance instruction at the age of three at Missy Arts School of Dance in Boston, continuing to study advanced Ballet and Jazz with the renowned Don Bigger and Hip Hop at Lisa’s Dance Studio of Quincy. After graduating from North Quincy High School at the top of the Renaissance Performing Arts Program, she continued her education at the Wang Center of Performing Arts and was accepted into the Handel and Hayden Society for music theory and vocal training.
Starting at the University of Miami and continuing onto the University Massachusetts Amherst, she studied musical theatre, communications, and dance, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree while participating in several dance and theatre productions. She continues her dance education today through workshops with instructors across the United States.
As an aerobics instructor at UMass Boston, a dance instructor at ShoeStrings Dance Studio in Hanover, and Raquelle’s Dance Studio of Scituate for several years, Bridget's enthusiasm in class was infectious. Her approach emphasizes providing the finest dance education in a challenging, creative, and supportive environment that fosters students’ creativity and dance proficiency while maintaining an enjoyable atmosphere.
Her popularity led to the creation of two additional classes per season at each studio, ultimately fulfilling her dream of opening her own dance studio.
Bridget also fell in love with cheerleading during her adolescence, serving as the North Quincy High School Cheerleaders’ captain and a volunteer coach for the North Quincy Apache Cheerleading team. In 1997, she represented her community as an All-Star Cheerleader for the National Cheerleaders Association and assisted in the competition choreography that won her high school squad the State Championship. She also helped the newly formed South Boston Pop Warner Program with her dance, cheerleading, and choreographing skills, running introductory clinics for girls of all ages.
Bridget's experience extends to the University of Massachusetts Amherst cheerleading squad and Dance Team, where she participated in the NCA/NDA Invitational National Championships in Daytona Beach, being featured in Cheer magazine for executing the most difficult stunts in their routine.
Bridget has performed in music videos, commercials, theater productions, and a major motion picture, bringing a wealth of experience to her students. She has been the choreographed multiple musical theater productions including "Singing in the Rain," for Footlights Theatre and "Wizard of Oz" for Company Theater. Bridget also wrote, directed, and was featured in her original production of "Natural Women." As the head coach of the Notre Dame High School varsity dance team for several years, Bridget built the program and transitioned local studio dancers into a competitive high school dance environment. She is currently coaching Hanover High School Varsity Dance Team and proud to be helping her community.
She trains many students who participate in competitive High School and College teams and is actively involved in choreographing BDS competition routines. Her choreography has won multiple awards at both local and national competitions. The program she build at her studio lead to countless acknowledgements within the dance industry such as the ADCC Award, Choreography Awards, Technical Excellence, Pure Passion Award, Judge Choice Awards and many more. With certifications in acrobatic aerial arts and a scholarship to the Dance Teacher Convention in Las Vegas, she looks forward to many more years of mastering her craft, teaching and choreographing for her students.

Meet Miss Meg : Choreographer

Megan is a graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, where she received her certificate of professional training in Dance Theater. She started dancing at the age of two at Joan's Olympic Gym in Weymouth and then continued her training as a competitive dancer at Dance Works in Quincy. Her training includes tap, jazz, ballet, and musical theater. Attending North Quincy High School as a dance major in the Renaissance Performing Arts Program, she was selected from thousands of dancers to tour the U.S. with Dance Olympus as a V.I.P.
Megan pursued her dream by moving to New York City to study at A.M.D.A aiming to become a professional dancer. Over the past ten years, she has been involved in the industry, from teaching dance to all ages, modeling for dance catalogs, traveling and working at dance competitions. Megan then went on to audition for the Patriots Cheerleaders and was an ample part of their team for four years becoming the Captain of The Patriots Cheerleaders and voted Veteran of the Year. Megan is currently the trainer of the Patriots Cheerleaders and goes on in her career with the NFL. We are so excited for Miss Meg an can't wait to follow all of her accomplishments.

Meet Miss Victoria : Instructor & Choreographer

Victoria Vatalaro began dancing at the age of 2 at Joan’s Olympic Gym. She then continued her dance education at Bridget’s Dance Studio where she joined the competition team. In high school, Victoria began as an assistant teacher helping out with classes. She was also a competitive gymnast from the age of 2 to 18 at Ellis Gymnastics, earning many awards and state titles. Victoria attended Springfield College for health science/ pre-physical therapy and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree in 2023. At Springfield College, Victoria was a member of the Pride Dance Team, performing at basketball and football games and competing at the regional and national level. Victoria was the captain of the Pride Dance Team her senior year and was also involved in choreographing pieces, organizing events, and leading practices. Following graduation, Victoria returned as a teacher to Bridgets Dance Studio and has taught the recreational and competition classes. Victoria is very excited to be back at BDS and loves sharing her passion with students.

Meet Miss Hannah : Instructor & Choreographer

Hannah danced at Bridget’s Dance Studio for 10 years. After graduating from high school, she attended Massasoit Community College, where she earned a associates degree in Business Management. Hannah joined the BDS teaching staff in 2022 and loves sharing her passion for dance with the next generation of dancers. In addition to teaching at BDS, Hannah is a fitness instructor at Btone Fitness and holds certifications in Barre, Sculpt, and Mat Pilates. She enjoys helping others build confidence, strength, and a love for movement both in the studio and in the fitness community.

Meet Mrs Brittney : Instructor & Choreographer

Miss Brittney began dancing at the age of five years old at a studio in Medway, MA formally known as Miss Jennifer’s. After a few years she grew interested in dancing competitively and moved to Dance Express in Easton, MA where she competed on the dance company team for multiple years. Halfway through high school, her family moved to Frisco, Texas where she continued dancing competitively for Frisco Dance Force and was taught by amazing instructors from Principal ballerinas of Contemporary Ballet Dallas to Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. While on the competition team, she also attended a large variety of dance conventions throughout the country and performed on a Royal Caribbean cruise line to the Bahamas. Throughout her many years of dancing and performing, she has her education in Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, Hip-Hop, Tap, Jazz, and is Acrobatic Arts certified. After graduating high school, Miss Brittney received a scholarship to the Joan Phelps Palladino School of Dance at Dean College where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Dance and Business. While attending she took many dance classes with well-known instructors and choreographers such as Kelly Peters, Ricardo Foster Jr., and Gregory King. When she was not in the dance studio for class, she studied dance educational classes such as Kinesiology, Dance Anatomy, Pedagogy, Rhythmic Analysis and Dance History to name a few. Over the years, Miss Brittney still thrives to grow and learn through teaching and choreographing as well as obtaining more education in the dance world. Miss Brittney continues to share her passion for dance as she continues to teach and choreograph for her amazing students at Bridget’s Dance Studio.

Meet Mr Tristan : Choreographer

Tristan Marshall is a freelance dancer, choreographer and educator from Massachusetts. He began dancing at the age of 15, and went on to receive his BA in Dance from Hofstra University, where he received many accolades for his choreography throughout his time in the program! Since graduating in 2019, he has honed in on his passion for teaching and nurturing the next generation of dancers. Now, with a decade of teaching experience, Tristan strives to create a safe space to learn, grow & challenge each student he works with. He fuses athleticism & technique, with artistry & passion, and loves instilling this in the next generation. He has gotten to share his knowledge with many studios along the East Coast, teaching workshops & intensives, as well as teaching at a few local studios throughout the school year. Aside from teaching, Tristan has choreographed and performed with DanceWorks in both New York City and Boston for many seasons. Recently, however, his focus has shifted to mentoring and educating youth. In addition to performing himself, Tristan thoroughly enjoys the competition industry, having choreographed for a multitude of “competition studios” and he has, also, worked with multiple competitions and conventions. Tristan has travelled across the country, working as a Backstage Manager, Awards Manager, Tabulator, Announcer & Events Director. Recently, he was even invited to teach on a local convention’s faculty! He has loved his time traveling, interacting with and teaching all of these amazing students, and is excited for any future opportunities to share his love of dance!

Meet Miss Madi : Ballet Technique Instructor

Madi started dancing when she was 3 years old. She has trained in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern, contemporary, Irish Step and musical theatre. Madi grew up a competitive dancer performing for the Boston Celtics, Providence Bruins and performing twice in Walt Disney World. In high school, she joined the Spindle City Ballet in Fall River, MA, focusing her training on ballet and modern. Madi graduated from Dean College’s Joan Phelps Palladino School of Dance with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dance Education. During her time at Dean, Madi performed and choreographed in various shows as well as being inducted into the National Honor Society for Dance Arts. She also had the opportunity to train for two summers with American Ballet Theatre Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School in their Collegiate Summer Intensive. Madi loves being able to share her love for dance with the next generation of dancers

Meet Miss Lucy : Instructor & Choreographer

Lucy has been dancing since the age of three at Bridget's Dance Studio and joined the competition team at the age of nine. After assisting classes and camps for many years, she became a head teacher at age fifteen at BDS. Lucy loves working with younger dancers and expressing her creativity through choreography. She hopes to continue her dance education and using her knowledge to build the next generation of dancers for years to come.

Meet Miss Caragh: Ballet Technique Instructor

Miss Caragh comes from an incredibly diverse dance background. With previous studios she’s learned from including Cortland Performing Arts Institute, Ithaca ballet, Draper center and Rochester city ballet. After growing up moving around and learning bit and pieces from each studio, Miss Caragh formalized her ballet education from Ithaca Ballet for four years before studying Dance at State University of New York, Brockport. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Dance from the aforementioned, and moved to Boston to explore. With her background being a camp counselor and working with teens and adolescents previously, she explored other ways to incorporate both her avocations. She found Bridget’s Studio after a year of not dancing and reignited her passion by applying to be a ballet teacher where she has been grateful and excited about this Opportunity since.



Meet Miss Kimmie

Many of you may have seen this special lady at every recital since we opened. As the studio manager, Kimberly Mackie, is the liaison between parents, students and instructors insuring that classes are not disrupted and everything runs smoothly. Kimmie has extensive experience working with children and was the director of a popular preschool on Wollaston Beach in Quincy, MA. She then transitioned to work in the marketing department for Dunkin' Donuts, mastering public relations, sales, promotions, customer service, and more. We are thrilled to have Kimmie as part of our team.
